When a woman shares her story of sexual violence, she takes the first step to breaking the cycle of abuse. It is on all of us to give her the safe space she needs to speak up and be heard. It is important for us to remember that when discussing sexual violence, a victim’s sobriety, clothes, and sexuality are irrelevant.
The perpetrator is the sole reason for the abuse and must bear the responsibility alone. Survivors of violence are speaking out more than ever before, and everyone has a role to play to ensure they can have justice.

Host a Liberty Gathering
Share your passion with others! Host a Beloved Haven Liberty Gathering. Invite your friends, family, or colleagues over for hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a delicious meal or brunch, and share your passion to make a difference in the lives of hurting women.
Opportunities are available in the following areas:
Jail Facilitators: Providing Human Trafficking curriculum to women in the local County and District Jails. (Training is required)
Victim Advocates: Providing support for clients in court, being a part of the Regional Rapid Response Team, meeting with clients one-on-one (Training is required)
Volunteer Relations: Work alongside of Beloved Haven staff with volunteer on-boarding processes; including volunteer communication, data entry, conducting orientation for new volunteers, and maintaining volunteer files; help build a sense of community among volunteers.
Fundraising: Work alongside of Beloved Haven staff with fundraising ideas and events throughout the year.
Market Supporting: Work alongside of Beloved Haven staff with graphic design needs, content, and new ideas for our website, social media platforms, video campaigns, training videos, and newsletters.
Church and Community Engagement: Contact area churches to engage them in public awareness, to update them on the work of Beloved Haven, and to increase partnerships, engaging churches in Beloved Haven projects, events, and meeting survivor needs. Travel locally to assist with community interest meetings, community events setting up informational tables, refreshments, and answering questions.
Fair-Trade Popup Events: Helping with Popup events during community events and fundraising events.
